Make an ice pack by mixing one cup rubbing alcohol with two cups water in a quart-size
zip-top bag. Store in the freezer. The mixture won't freeze solid, so it's easy to shape
around sore knees or elbows, and it can be reused.
Long Lasting Bouquets
Cut flowers will last longer if you cut them from your garden first thing in the morning
rather than in the afternoon. In the morning, flowers contain a higher percentage of
moisture, allowing them to last longer in an arrangement.

Place a mug of water in your microwave oven. Nuke the water for 3 minutes and let the
mug sit in the oven for 5 minutes with the door shut.The moisture condensing on the
inside of the oven will loosen all the stuck on food particles and wipes off effortlessly.

Next time you make baked tomatoes or stuffed peppers, try baking them in a muffin tin
instead of a flat baking dish. The veggies will stay upright as they bake and keep their shape.
Quick Cupcake Garnish
No time to frost those cupcakes? About two minutes before removing them from the oven,
simply top each with a marshmallow it'll melt into a sweet, kid-pleasin topping. 

 Make Instant Pudding
Make instand pudding by pouring the milk and pudding mix into the blender and
whipping for two minutes. It turns out completely lump-free and sets in half the time.

Remove Crayon Marks
To remove crayon marks from your walls or furniture, lightly spray a little WD-40 on the
crayon and it wipes away easily. No more scrubbing till the paint comes off.

Remove Wall Paper
To remove wall paper, instead of buying the bottled chemical mix equal parts of vinigar
and hot water and sponge onto wallpapered wall. Let soak in for a couple of minutes. You
can use a sprayer instead of sponging Then after paper removed,  wash down the wall with
vinigar water to make sure all the glue is removed. This works very well.

Clean Oven Rack
To clean Oven Racks, use a large plastic garbage bag, place oven racks on it spray with
oven cleaner pull the bag over and inside out, seal securly with tie and leave over night.
The next morning just wipe off with sponge. No fuss no mess. The racks are clean and with
no mess.

Keep Fruit Fresh
Keep a small spray bottle filled with one part lemon juice to one part water in your
refrigerator. When cutting fresh fruit, spritz it with the mixture to prevent discoloring.

Ants Problems
Got problems with ants? sprinkle baby powder where you see trails and along counter tops
ants pack up and leave.

Pristine Apples
To keep peeled apples from turning brown, simply soak them in sprite, 7-Up or any lemon/
lime soda for 10 minutes. They'll stay fresh-looking for up to three days.

Easy-Iron Shirts
Forgot to remove a cotton shirt from the dryer...and now it's one big wrinkle? Creases will
smooth out faster and easier if you toss the shirt and a damp bath towel back into the dryer.
Set the machine to "delicate" or "air-fluff", and turn it on for a few minutes. Iron as usual.

Keep Fridge Fresh
After cleaning the inside of your refrigerator or freezer, wipe the bottom, sides and shelves
with white vinegar and allow to air-dry. The vinegar will leave an acidic residue that
discourages the growth of mold and mildew.

Lighter Fluid
Keeping a can of lighter fluid around the house is invaluable. It will remove wax and
crayon(without leaving the residue of WD40,or requiring a hot iron). It will also dissolve
gum. Finally, it is the perfect solvent for removing the adhesive residue left from tape or
from stickers on car window.

Cancel Kitchen Odors
To get rid of your kitchen oder from fish and other lingering, simply slice a lemon, place
slices in a pie plate, and bake at 200 for about 20 minutes. Yucky smells will be replaced
by a 0wonderful,fresh scent.

Gum Removal
Did you accidentally sit on a gob of already-been-chewed gum? Remove it from clothing
by covering the wad with a piece of wax paper, then running a warm iron over it. The sticky
stuff will melt onto the paper and peel off, leaving your garment gum-free.

Instant Iron Cleaner
To quickly remove the dirt and grime that collects on the bottom of your iron, sprinkle a
